BEDDING

I have created a new bedding series mixed with a style of Aboriginal, Navaho and African flavor. This bedding series comes with a head panel as colorful as the bedspread and it comes down on each side and the front of the bed like a small carpet with a huge puffy pillow to be used when you want to sit up. I am looking for a company interested in producing this new style on the market.

It has been very interesting creating this bedding with such colorful new ideas.  It came to me in my dream one night so that morning I started to draw this new bedding and all my friends fell in love with it. I decided to continue and today I do have a magnificent series that can be used to start a new trend. Being a versatile artist has given me the opportunity to create all kinds of great and unique designs.

BY THE SEASHORE

Nova Scotia is a province in Canada with a thousand lakes and where ever you go the beauty of the lakes, seashores and the scenery is breath taking.  Everywhere you go; there is a view that would stay in your mind forever.  I love being an artist because I can visualize a sight like no one else, especially detail like our seashores- some with fishermen and villages, others with sandy beaches with such a great view.

The Halifax Historic Property is so exciting, and the waterfront houses sail boats from all over the globe.  The sea shore, all the way to Peggy’s Cove, a little village built on rocks with a light house- breath taking and with a story of its own. Our seashores exist all around friendly and peaceful people so I take special care in my paintings to show this wonderful expression of friendship and love.

I love to show my versatile talents with people by the sea shore, fishermen and villages, and boats. I have created paintings that reflect the beauty and elegance of this peaceful province.

LOVE BIRDS

I lived in Lawrence town, Nova Scotia by the ocean and many blue heron came by my house so I watched them closely; how they hunt their pray, their gracious walk in the sea weed, and it inspired me when I saw their affection with one another.  It was amazing to see how they get along together with their majestic grace especially when they are about to lift off.

I decided to create something that would reflect human relationships using the blue heron’s courtship and their tenderness and affection for one another in each separate world. Sometime animals can teach a few tricks to humans. I decided to try finding a way to illustrate human affection so I was thinking and thinking, and then one day while I was watching the blue herons through my window, it clicked- all I needed to do was create a painting that showed the love of two birds entwined with each other and the message of love between them, reflected a message for human beings at the same time.

Their expression of affection can be a lesson for us as people – we should be able to give our love as free and easy as they do.   This series would be wonderful as greeting cards.
