PROFESSIONAL EXHIBITS, SEMINARS, & AWARDS
- I conducted a one day seminar instructions during March brake on fashion design and renewed fashion involving altering, cutting, sewing, adding trims, and much more for 12 youth at the Dartmouth North Community Centre, March 2007
- Creation of the Dartmouth North Community Centre acrylic 8’ x 10’ mural; I wanted to create a mural to relate to the kids who would be painting during March brake. I traced the mural outline about a band for the Hip Hop Angels dancers, and I supervised a dozen young volunteers from north-end Dartmouth. - Exhibitor at the Feed The Children Museum Special Projects and Events, North Meridian Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK, USA. “Deliverance” my oil painting 20″ x 24″ was sold at the fundraising auction on May 13, 2005 to provide emergency relief of the Tsunami disaster
- My watercolour painting Angel’s Love 12” x 16” was sold at the Breast Cancer Action Nova Scotia Mom Prom II fundraising auction on May 7, 2005 at the Holiday Inn Harbourview, Dartmouth to help BCANS continue its work to heighten awareness of breast cancer
- My 20" x 24" reduced scale version oil on canvas painting of Eye on People of the World was especially re-created as requested to be sold at the annual Halifax Progress Club Benefit Auction to assist them with fundraising for children with disabilities, November-2004

- Exhibitor at the Multicultural Association of Nova Scotia (MANS) Festival, Alderney Landing Dartmouth Waterfront, Nova Scotia among a special promotion and unveiling of my 15’x 40’ acrylic on canvas mural entitled “Eye on People of the World”. “To assist Festival Chair Mukhtyar Tomar with the official unveiling of the mural, ATV’s Elizabeth Chiu host for the 2003 Nova Scotia Multicultural Festival Opening Ceremonies called upon: the Premier of Nova Scotia, the Honourable John Hamm, representing the Halifax Regional Municipality, Councillor Bruce Hetherington and the Minister of the Secretary of State for Multiculturalism, the Honourable Jean Augustine.” The mural formed the backdrop for the main stage at the Multicultural Festival held in Dartmouth, June-2003

- At age 15, I was making my own clothing and began working as a seamstress for Kay-Silver a clothing manufacture in Montreal. The clothing designer Ray found out about my designing talent, and started to teach me clothing designing every day at work for 2 years; I loved every minute of it, and Kay-Silver even had two of my designs on the market. I have designs for ladies, men, teens, hats, shoes, purses, costumes, sportswear, and hairstyles etc.
- An exhibit of some of my work can be viewed at La Hoyo Restaurant & Art Gallery at 570 on Duke St. in Halifax.
